Emailing is a direct and instant format in which to engage the student population, your message is delivered to each student without waiting for them to view their student organisation website. Throughout our network every registered member of each website receives emails directly from the relevant organisation. The opportunity to advertise through email is only via the student organisations ability to send and we can never provide email databases. All emails are sent directly through our own server by each student organisation. A 10,000 email send can take just 10 minutes to reach its audience, now that's fast promotion! A directly measurable and powerful advertising tool, email can be used in mixed media integrated campaigns or just as effectively as a stand alone student marketing campaign
Emails present a massive opportunity not just for simply advertising to every student on a direct and personal basis, but also the chance to refine your target audience, with some student organisations now allowing advertisers to accurately 'hit' chosen segments of the market. Via the registration process on each member site, we are helping unions/associations gather clean and comprehensive data on all their students. The ability to refine your audience is something that our web developers are now working on and should be in place for commercial use in the very near future.

We have designed our email platform to collate the data of any emails that bounce or fail to deliver to their intended recipients and then suspend these accounts from the database. As all students have to verify their memberships on registration to the website the database is highly clean. As time goes by email accounts can become full or expire, this is where we clear up (so to speak), our email platform self cleans after every send.
Within our medium of email advertising, we provide two different forms of advertising opportunities:
Solus Email Advertising
Directly send and promote a brand or advertising message to your chosen database of student organisation members. Through solus email sending you have the full email area to use in your promotion, with the exception of the Union disclaimer message and the footer details. Although we can't guarantee that all the students will open your email, you know that once opened they won't miss your promotion.
E-newsletter E-advert Boxes
Through our ever-increasing network each student organisation has the ability to send out regular e-newsletters to its members. The benefit of utilising this media is that if your company product/brand is accepted by the membership it immediately takes advantage of being Students'' Union 'accepted' and therefore a safe choice in the eyes of the student. Also, as an informative email from the Students' Union with competitions, events information etc. students will not view the e-newsletters or its content as spam or junk mail. From the list below you can view all the student organisations which permit email sending through their website portal, the number of emails and the cost to advert within them. Each of these e-newsletters can have the ability to carry advertising through e-advert boxes which run down the right hand side of each e-newsletter. There are 6 e-advert boxes and each is priced differently dependant on its position. E-adverts are static advert boxes were the advertiser can promote its services, add alt-text and provide a link to a third party url website address
